CAASPP Testing


Attention Juniors and Seniors:
CAASPP Testing for all Juniors & Seniors is Thursday and Friday, April 8 & 9, 2021. Juniors need to be on campus both days. Seniors come to school on their normal cohort day. Freshman and Sophomores will be home both days for Asynchronous work.

This year statewide testing will be held on April 8th and April 9th.  
  • All Juniors are required to participate in statewide testing on both days. 
  • Seniors will only report on their normal cohort day for testing.  
  • Please review the bell schedule below for testing times.  
  • Students will stay for the duration of the testing period and will not be excused early.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
To prepare for these testing days please do the following:
  • Juniors please clear your schedule as you will need to be at UM both days 
  • Transportation will be provided in the morning and at the end of testing using our normal bus routes.  
  • Seniors please plan on reporting at 8:30.  You will be dismissed around 11:30.  
    • Please note, Seniors only need to report to school on their normal cohort day.
  • If you currently have a UMHS Chromebook you will need to update the device prior to the testing day. 
    • Turn on your Chromebook.
    • Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi
    • At the bottom right, slect the time.
    • Select Settings (gear icon).
    • At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS.
    • Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses.
    • Select Check for updates.
    • If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
  • If your UMHS Chromebook shows the Chrome OS version in step #6 is 76 or below you will need to bring the Chromebook to the finance office to return it for a newer device.
  • If you do not currently have a UMHS Chromebook, one will be given to you to borrow for testing the morning before the test.
  • Please bring headphones and water for each testing day. 
You will be notified of your testing location in class on April 6th or 7th.
