Work Permit Information


How to obtain a Work Permit over the Summer:

  • Print and complete the Request for Work Permit:
    Note: All three sections on pg. 2 of your work permit (minor’s information, parent signature, and employer information & signature) must be complete before submitting your Request for a Work Permit.
  • Email option (best option): Scan/take a picture of the completed Request for a Work Permit and email to bbrosnan@eduhsd.k12.ca.us OR kparker@eduhsd.k12.ca.us depending on the dates below.
  • We will receive your request and email you a completed Work Permit. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for processing. You can then print it, sign it at the bottom, and give it to your employer.

From June 5th - June 18th:
Union Mine Counseling Department (Brooke Brosnan) 
Follow the steps above and email your request to bbrosnan@eduhsd.k12.ca.us
In-person option available: Bring signed/completed Work Permit Applications to the Counseling Office, Building B, by Appointment only. Please contact bbrosnan@eduhsd.k12.ca.us or call 530-621-4003 ext. 4215 to set up an appointment.
 
From June 19th - July 13th:
El Dorado Union High School District Office (Kelly Parker)
Follow the steps above and email your request to kparker@eduhsd.k12.ca.us
 
The district office is located at 4675 Missouri Flat Road, Placerville, CA, Student Services Building D. Their summer hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am  - 4:00 pm but please email first with any questions you may have.
 
From July 14th - August 10th:
