9th Grade Orientation:
Orientation for 9th Grade students is Wednesday August 1, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and includes the following schedule:

10, 11, & 12 Grades:
Orientation for new students in 10th, 11th, and 12th Grades is Wednesday August 1, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and includes the following schedule:
5:00 - 5:30 pm 10th, 11th, & 12th Grade new STUDENTS & PARENTS(Main Office)
5:30 - 6:00 pm 10th, 11th, & 12th Grade new STUDENTS & PARENTS meet with Administration regarding school rules, Aeries Parent Portal, and helpful info for the new school year (Theatre)
6:00 - 7:00 pm 10th, 11th, & 12th Grade new STUDENTS & PARENTS attend Market Place in the Cafeteria to receive class schedules and information about Athletics, ASB, P.E. clothes, Band, Drama, and Boosters (Cafeteria)
First Day of School 2018-19:
August 6, 2018 is the First Day of School.
ALL STUDENTS will report to the Large Gym at 7:50 am for a Welcome Back Rally.
Students will sit with their grade level class.
All returning students can view their courses online by visiting the Union Mine home page and logging in to their Aeries Portal account.
All students will receive their class schedules on the first day of school.
Returning students may make schedule change requests in writing by submitting their requests to the Counseling Office before August 1, 2018 or by email to their counselor listed above.
Requests must include the course to be dropped, the course to be added, the reason for the change request, and PARENT PERMISSION (by signature on the form or by email address).
All students will follow the class schedule received on the first day of school.
No schedule changes will be made during the first week, with the exception of incorrect class placement or an unbalanced academic schedule.
