Cal Grant

• State need-based aid
• Requires parental income via the FAFSA as well as GPA uploaded by the school
• There is no additional form to file, but the FAFSA must be submitted by March 2nd to be eligible.

Dream Act

• Financial Aid for undocumented student - replaces the FAFSA and Cal Grant monies
• Requires parental income information until the student is 24
