FAFSA
- Federal Student Aid
- Need-based grants
- Federal student and parent loans for all students
- Opens in December of student's senior year
- Requires parental income until student is 26, except for special circumstances.

Cal Grant
- State need-based aid
- Requires parental income via the FAFSA as well as GPA uploaded by the school
- There is no additional form to file, but the FAFSA must be submitted by March 2nd to be eligible.

Dream Act
- Financial Aid for undocumented student - replaces the FAFSA and Cal Grant monies
- Requires parental income information until the student is 24
- Apply online at dream.csac.ca.gov
